Abstract

Liberalism is one of the most important movements in the Western world in the 19th century, which came about due to the characteristics and developments of medieval society. The most important principles of this movement are: individualism, freedom, rationalism, and secularism, but due to the excesses in these principles, many negative consequences arose in the personal, social, economic, and other spheres. In addition, the spread of Western developments in countries around the world caused the liberal system and its negative consequences to spread throughout the world. This is one of the challenges of today's world, so in this research, with the aim of criticizing the foundations of liberalism in an applied, descriptive and analytical way, we criticized these foundations based on the opinions of Mrs. Amin, and we concluded that Mrs. Amin has put forward opinions that can be used to criticize the foundations of liberalism through their examination and analysisAmong them: the axis of the world is God, and the criterion of ethics and values is religion and faith, even reason acknowledges the existence of the Creator and the truth of Islam, and human freedom finds meaning within the framework of reason and Sharia. Reason can achieve the law of justice with the help of faith, because the religion of Islam rules in relation to all governmental, political, etc. issues and is the main source of these matters.
